Rowan Counselling Service

Life, with its stresses and strains, can be really challenging. There are times when speaking with someone who isn’t directly involved in your situation can be supportive, enabling you to gain greater clarity, to understand yourself better and to find ways of living that are right for you. It may be a study-related difficulty or a personal one.

We work with issues such as:

• Relationship problems

• Bereavement

• Depression

• Anxiety

• Stress

• Addiction

• Abuse

• Feeling unfulfilled

Rowan Counselling Service offers Counselling sessions each lasting for 50 minutes. Appointments are handled with both privacy and confidentiality -there is no reporting to the College beyond basic statistics and attendance. Appointments take place in discreet and accessible rooms within the Fife College campuses or you can request to have phone appointments if that is a more preferable option for you.

This service is funded by Fife College and can be accessed free of charge by students. The number of sessions offered will depend on the needs of individual students.

To discuss Counselling further, please make a Guidance appointment by emailing Guidance@fife.ac.uk or calling the Main College number 0344 2480115
