Meet our new Sports Ambassadors!
Full Name: Heather Pollock
Role: Sports Ambassador and leads the FCSA Badminton Club
Favourite Sport/Activity: My Favourite sport to watch is Rugby. I love to coach Athletics and take part in Sea Cadet Activities like Powerboating, and Drill.
Reasons for becoming a Sports Ambassador: I love sport, and I would like as many people as possible to experience and get the chance to take part in an activity they enjoy or would like the opportunity to do. I would also like people to feel they can do sport no matter their ability or experience because any activity can positively impact you.
Full Name: Lisa McDonald
Role: Inclusive Sports Ambassador and leads the FCSA Boccia Club
Favourite Sport/ Activity: When I was younger, I enjoyed playing netball and hockey. Now I like to watch international football matches and the Paralympics.
Reason for becoming a sports ambassador: I like the challenge of trying something new, and Boccia interested me because of my mobility issues and not having done sport since I was in high school. I wanted to show it doesn't matter your age, and if you have a disability, there is always time to try something new.
